Good Afternoon, First off, thank you to everyone who attended the meeting Tuesday. It was a great turnout, and you all had great ideas for the future of this group. After consulting with Amanda, here is the plan: I intend to have monthly meetings the third Thursday of the month at 3 ET because the second Thursday will have too much conflict with our federal funding calls. However, because the third Thursday happens to be the 15th in January, we would conflict with federal funding anyway, so the January meeting will be on January 14th at 3 ET. Within the technology group, I will establish a subgroup to draft and review model documents, prepare responses to new issues or those raised by group members, etc. Our monthly meetings can then be framed around one of the many issues you all highlighted yesterday. For example, because next month's meeting will take place about an hour after I get done with the ADA compliance webinar, we could talk about technology-related compliance issues. Members of the subgroup with expertise on the topic can also help me run the meeting and answer questions in much the same capacity Ben did yesterday (thanks Ben). Specific expertise is not required, however. I will also work to get experts on various subject matter areas to talk to the group as well so that we can have outside expertise. As for the repository, many of you have already shared your documents to help build it up, so thank you for that. Please keep sending me your technology-related policies and procedures. These will likely be stored in our resource library on our website, which is password-protected so that only members have access. I will work with our admin team to get that up as soon as possible. If you would like to be a part of the subgroup, email me and we can discuss details.
