Another day care question

According to our governor, and based on the federal guidelines as to essential services, the following is itself an essential service:

child care for essential service employees

Is anyone taking the position that  a daycare can be open, but only to the children of essential service employees?  Does anyone know if the state as a more specific position on this?

Thanks!

Here is the information on how our province dealt with that issue. We adjusted how child care could operate and only for eligible essential workers.

In MA, the Governor closed all day care centers, and then allowed some to reopen if they provided services for essential workers. To reopen, the centers needed to receive certification from the state that the center was one who provided day care services to essential workers.

Stephanie -

That is how I know it is being enforced in Central Texas.  Some have closed completely by choice. Others are requiring letters from employers of  essential workers and only accepting those children.
