Bloomington, Indiana's policy for employees is attached. It is not an ordinance. Enforcement has been by education and reminders, with discipline an option if we need it. So far we have not needed it. We have kept all of our buildings closed to the public, except for City Hall, where we require anyone coming in to be wearing a mask or to get one from a basket on the front desk. There is very clear signage on the outside of the front doors and again inside the front doors. The person at the front desk sits behind a plexiglass barrier and when a visitor requests to see someone on the city staff, that person is called to the atrium to handle the matter. Visitors may not go beyond our atrium where we have set up four desks with plexiglass shields, each equipped with a computer. We also have one printer and one copy machine in the atrium.
