All-

We had a contractor stop work in the middle of a project (cutting and paving lengthy walking trails through an urban forest, including a bridge or two, and minor building facilities). We made a claim under the Performance Bond; the surety has identified a new contractor.  I need either a template or some form language I can use for the subsequent contractor - noting that he is taking over another contractor's work, that he has had time to inspect the site, inspect on-site materials, reconcile material quantities, inspect acceptability of work already performed to ensure it has not degraded since the original contractor quit, etc., etc.  Does anyone have anything that might be useful?  I have been fortunate enough not to have encountered this particular issue before.
