Good evening fellow municipal sports lawyers. I have a quick question for you related to the timing of your governing body's final vote on your professional sports stadium deals. Does your board give final approval of the deal once the negotiations are complete and the documents finalized? In the alternative, does your board give its final approval at the deal points/term sheet stage and direct your city manager/administrator/designee to negotiate and execute the necessary agreements consistent with those terms without the need for additional board approval?
