Oklahoma City's Records Retention Manuel 2018 provides on page 22 for email:  "Deleted at the end of working day created or received unless required by law to be kept (i.e. financial records)."

From: "John R. Andrew" andrejr@poncacityok.gov
Subject:  Records Retention

All,

Regarding emails, what is everyone doing as far as records retention for emails? We are working through some ORA requests and the question came up from our City Manager. Right now, we are pretty much keeping everything in a database but that gets expensive.

Thanks,
