Has anyone used Cares Act funding to purchase a hotel for homeless or low income residents (or for some other purpose)? (I've seen a number of posts about leases of hotels, but we are particularly interested in whether anyone has purchased a hotel with these funds). If so, can you let me know what steps you took in planning this purchase, which source of CARES funding were used and why, as well as any guidance you've received from the feds, and finally, any sample forms or legislation on this?
